She believes deep nourishment happens during every single meal, and it is her job to help optimize these nutrients to best fit your needs! She comes from a clinical and community nutrition background and specializes in increasing overall diet quality as well as chronic disease prevention and management and healthy weight loss.
Working with every new client, it is her goal to bring more optimal gut health, physical energy and endurance, and mental well-being. These days it is common to have disordered thinking when it comes to food, and if this is a struggle for you, she would love to help you put these thoughts and behaviors into the past!
Making lifestyle change can be daunting and seem impossible sometimes, but Sophia promises there is a light at the end of the tunnel. She strongly believes behavior change happens most successfully when supported by an expert and is excited to accompany new clients on their journey to a greater quality of life!

Sophia is a graduate of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Food Science and Human Nutrition, Rosalind Franklin University with a master’s in Clinical and Lifestyle Nutrition, and UChicago Ingalls Memorial Hospital’s esteemed dietetic internship.
She is excited to now bridge her knowledge with your expertise in your health to achieve long-lasting nutrition and lifestyle change success.
Sophia has worked with numerous patients to prevent and manage chronic disease and achieve healthy weight loss in settings ranging from community groups and foodservice facilities to hospitals and clinics.
Outside of work, Sophia loves enjoying nature while running and rollerblading! She believes it is incredibly important (and enjoyable) to move the body as often as possible! She has also spent time trying new restaurants in the area and taking in the beautiful waterfront views.
